A charming city on the border of the beautiful and peaceful Cotswolds region of England and located on the small River Chelt, Cheltenham has a long and distinguished past. Although it received a charter as a town from the crown a full 800 years ago, the town itself became famous in the 1700's when natural mineral springs were discovered here. Cheltenham hosts a regional shopping district as well, including the Regent Arcade and Beechwood Shopping Center, and is well regarded as an affluent city.
